Ok…well yeah as a Makeup Artist I can’t really get behind a whole No Makeup bonanza.
BUT I do want to change the way women look at it.
In a world where looking good, or looking like someone else is glorified, it can be challenging not to get swept away in a coma of cosmetics. It has taken me awhile but I’ve finally found a balance…I think.
I’m only 23 so my mind could completely change tomorrow. For the most part though, I’ve jumped on the “Nearly Natural” bandwagon that I just created and should probably copyright…
Anyway YOU are BEAUTIFUL. If you don’t believe that STOP using makeup until you actually believe that! …seriously I revoke your rights to use makeup until you can look yourself in the mirror bare faced and say “I am BEAUTIFUL” and truly mean it!
Here is my “Nearly Natural” ritual. This is what I tend to wear on a normal day to day basis::
Bare Face

Avon Makeup
Here are my Avon && Mark items that I keep in my purse
Today I used ::
-Ideally Flawless Liquid Foundation, to even out my skin
-Avon Glimmersticks in Starry Night, a navy blue liner will make the whites of your eyes appear brighter.
-Avon’s Infinitize Mascara
-Mark Girl’s Glowdalicious in Amped Up for a little color to the cheeks
-Mark Girl’s Lipstick in Malt, I love I nice nude-ish, pinky color for casual days.
-Mark Girl’s Powder Buff in Light Medium 5 to set
Nearly Natural Makeup
Seriously takes less than 5 minutes. You know your face better than anyone and what your best features are. No need to spend 30+ minutes on your day to day makeup.
Do take pride in your appearance!! Just remember you never NEED makeup, its simply to enhance that beauty you’re already weeeerkin with!!!!

Tip of the Month
In honor of SPRiNG being right upon, my tip is for you to add a little color to brighten up your normal makeup routine.
During New York Fashion Week there were pops of bright lip color spotted on the runways.
Lip colors are fun and you don’t have to commit =) Try every color you can get your hands on! That is the best thing about makeup, especially lipstick, a woman can NEVER have enough lipstick.
Avon Totally Kissable Lipstick
My FAVORITE lipstick of all times…well now, is the new Totally Kissable Lipstick from Avon.
It has coconut oil in it, which you all know is one of my favorite things in the world! The lipstick goes on sooo smooth and leaves your lips baby soft when it comes of as well. It comes in lots of fun colors. I dig Make Out Red and Deep Orchid for fun.
